A reception desk loop system allows a hearing aid user to hear with ease the receptionists' conversation, even when behind a glass security partition. A desk top or surface mount microphone is placed near the assistant at the reception desk to pick up conversation. The loop amplifier, boost the signals from the microphone and feeds them to the Loop Pad. This produces a magnetic wave that is picked up by the hearing aid with a `T` position. A loop listening headset can be used instead of a hearing aid. This is useful for hearing aid users without the `T` position or for testing the loop system operation. The reception loop system can be installed at almost any reception desk. It will improve communication between the receptionist and a person with a hearing loss. Thus creating a more relaxed and pleasant atmosphere for the transaction.

Microphone
An economy or executive desk top microphone is supplied to pick up sound from the staff side of the reception area. If required a second microphone can be used to pick up sound from another source.

Loop pad
A loop pad is placed out of view under the reception desk. This transmits a magnetic wave to the person wearing a hearing aid set to the t position.

Automatic Gain Control
The Reception desk induction loop amplifier has (AGC) Automatic Gain Control.  Its been designed to give a constant sound output to the loop.  That means whatever the loudness of the receptionist voice, the hearing aid user will receive a constant level of clear sound with no background noise.

Loop sign
An internationally recognised loop sign is supplied for every installation.

DIY Loop kit
A Reception desk induction loop DIY kit is available for self installation. A Loop listening/test unit is provided as part of the kit to help you adjust, set up and test the level and sound quality of the loop system.
