Electronic background noise test meter hire service.
It is important that any site allocated for an induction loop system is checked for electomagnetic background interference (in accordance with BS6083 Part 4). This test must be carried out before the equipment is ordered or installed. A Field Strength Meter can be hired from us to carry out this test. Full instructions on how to test for interference are supplied with the meter and a help line is also on hand. Hire of test meter is £20.00 + £80.00 refundable deposit.

Loop Listening/Test meter (recomended optional extra)
When installing an induction loop system it is important to train staff on how to set up and use the system and we would always recommened the purchase of a loop listening/test meter to be left on site. This enables the operators to test that the system is working correctly. The meter has a volume control and an internal loud speaker which enables the user to monitor the audio quality of the loop system. It also has two LED's on the top which indicate that the loop system is operating to BS6083 part 4.
