The
Reception desk loop system has been specifically designed for ease
of communication between a receptionist and a client. The system
can be installed at most reception desks. At a large reception desk
where several points of contact are possible a loop system may be
required for each point of contact. Installation of several loop
systems at one desk will require consultation with us. A 13amp mains
socket will be required for each system.
A
DIY Reception desk induction loop kit is easy to install and set
up. A person who is competent at DIY will be able to follow our
easy user instruction leaflet. We also provide guidance by telephone
should you need further instruction.
Please
see below a list of DIY induction loop kits, which can be purchased
for self-installation. Please telephone us to discuss exact requirements
with details of the measurements and layout of the room. We always
ascertain that we are selling the correct equipment for your needs
before we despatch your order. Payment is required with order. Prices
are given verbally at the time of enquiry and followed by a written
estimate.
Electronic
background noise test meter hire service.
It is important that any site allocated for an inductive loop system
is checked for electro-magnetic background interference (in accordance
with BS6083 Part 4). This test must be carried out before the equipment
is ordered or installed. A Field Strength Meter can be hired from
us to carry out this test. Full instructions on how to test for
interference are supplied with the meter and a help line is also
on hand. Hire of test meter is £20.00 + £80.00 refundable
deposit.
Loop
Listening/Test meter (recommended optional extra)
When installing an inductive loop system it is important to train
staff on how to set up and use the system and we would always recommended
the purchase of a loop listening/test meter to be left on site.
This enables the operators to test that the system is working correctly.
The meter has a volume control and an internal loud speaker which
enables the user to monitor the audio quality of the loop system.
It also has two LED's on the top which indicate that the loop system
is operating to BS6083 part 4.
If
any of the kits listed do not suit your requirements a Consultancy
service is available. Complete our online Induction Loop Estimate
Questionnaire Form. Once the form has been received we will contact
you to discuss specific details. A detailed estimate will be sent
to you including images of the equipment. Please feel free to telephone
us direct on 01202 682795 to discuss your requirements.
